Digital Multimedia Communication is a course that focuses on new electronic communications technologies. Students will use a variety of software and equipment as they learn the basic principles of digital technology, digital photography, digital video, sound creation, animation and web page design. Students will also explore digital communication basics and legal issues in multimedia communications.

This course is a logical choice for incoming freshman who plan to become involved in the Academy of Art, Media, and Communication. Digital Multimedia offers prospective students the chance to sample graphic design, animation, video and audio principles, and digital photography. Students may then move on and choose to study from one of these specific areas during a second, third, or fourth year within the AMC academy.
