The Key To A Successful Future
The Personal
and Commercial Service occupations are those that are related to
families and human needs. The need for trained, qualified, and competent
persons in these areas continues to grow as current employees leave the
workforce, and the population takes advantage of the “services” provided
by these occupations.
Students attending the Kokomo Area Career Center have the opportunity to
get a “jump start” on the training and skills required for many careers
in the Personal and Commercial Services area.
Students can apply for the Academy of Personal and Commercial Services
their freshman year. Students will experience a variety of training
options related to the services industry.
Students can study college-prep academic classes while participating in
Personal and Commercial Services specialty classes. Students can explore
the various career paths this industry has to offer.
