Kokomo Public Schools Education Foundation Mini Grants
The Kokomo Public Schools Education Foundation would like to help you enhance the learning that takes place in your classroom.  The Foundation Board of Directors will award up to 6 ~ $500.00 mini grants to Kokomo School Corporation teachers each semester.  Additional funding up to a total of $1000.00 may be considered by the committee for unique projects. In the past nine years, the Foundation has written grant checks to Kokomo Schools teachers for more than $45,000.00.

 

The deadline for Education Foundation mini grant applications for the first semester, 2017-2018, is  March 15,2017.  Please send the completed mini-grant application to Debbie Vawter at the Administrative Service Center.  Mini grant applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.  Your application must be date stamped by 4:30 p.m. by March 15th to be considered for a mini-grant award. The application requires your principal’s original signature. 

                                           

The current application form was distributed along with this memo through email to all Kokomo Schools’ certified staff members. Review the criteria carefully when writing your grant application. As the mini grant explanation sheet denotes, our local Education Foundation simply wishes to “encourage innovative and creative teaching in the classroom.”
