Native American Day at Lafayette Park Elementary

Lafayette Park Elementary students, left-right, Braxtyn Marone, Adessa Denny, Javionne Mack, and Jessica Reardon were among the third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders who recently participated in Native American Day.

The Lafayette Park Elementary students visited a variety of stations with their tribes, including Native American games, jewelry making, rock painting, face painting, and bartering. The Lafayette Park students also created talking sticks and designed totem poles before enjoying a Native American feast at the end of the school day.
