The Kokomo community promotes a peaceful and supportive climate where all nationalities can co-exist and grow. The interchange of world views and cultures thrives in Kokomo because of the enrollment of students from more than 20 countries and 5 continents.

Dr. Heidi Gutwein

Dr. Heidi Gutwein

Dr. Heidi Gutwein serves Kokomo School Corporation as the International Director. Dr. Gutwein is responsible for coordinating international residential programs, issuing F1 Visas, home stay coordinator, international academic and counseling services, residential affairs, and student equity. Dr. Gutwein has dedicated more than 25 years of her professional life working with, and educating, students. Dr. Gutwein received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a doctorate in Education Administration from Indiana State University. In her free time, Dr. Gutwein enjoys landscaping, hiking, traveling, reading, and learning about other cultures.
