Participants will benefit from the guidance of our experienced coaches. The boys’ league will be overseen by Kokomo High School Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Drew Schauss, who also serves as the Middle School Athletic Director. The girls’ league will be supervised by Kokomo High School Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Haley Peckinpaugh.
Participants will participate in a practice session each week and engage in 1-2 games weekly, potentially followed by a tournament in the final week. All practices and games will be played at either Memorial Gym or our Wildkat Gym, which is located in the same building as Memorial Gym. Gate admission is set at $5 per person or $10 per family, helping to fund the league and its programs, while also inviting families and community members to participate in and enjoy the excitement of the games together.
"Our youth basketball program offers a quality experience for young athletes, from those just starting out to more experienced players looking to elevate their skills. We are proud to provide a strong basketball program right here in our community, ensuring that families have access to top-notch coaching and competitive play close to home.”
