Live Interactive Classrooms (Synchronous Learning): Students can log in and virtually join a real classroom in real time. Our specialized tracking cameras let online students see the board, hear the discussion, and participate live with their peers.
On-Demand Coursework (Asynchronous Learning): When a student needs to focus independently, they can access their digital dashboard 24/7. This lets them complete their daily assignments at a more personalized pace.
A Custom Mix (Hybrid Style): Many families choose a this setup. A student can take their core classes online, but still come to a physical building for specific, Career and Technical Education programs.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing KVA over other generic, faceless online program options is our strong local foundation. Because KVA is part of Kokomo School Corporation, our online students have a unique opportunity to build tangible, real-world technical connections and skills right into their schedules.
KVA students can complete their standard high school classes online from home, and then attend the Kokomo Area Career Center in person. This gives KVA students direct access to top-tier, specialized programs. It is a unique and customized way to earn an official Indiana high school diploma while gaining the specific experiences that give them a distinct professional edge after graduation.
