KHS Senior Noah Thompson earns full-ride scholarship to Notre Dame

Superintendent Dr. Mike Sargent’s recommendation for program expansions for the 2023-2024 school year was approved by the Kokomo School Corporation Board of School Trustees at its regular monthly (November 7) meeting.

Kokomo High School Band Director Brandon Anderson and his award-winning Performing Arts students made the World Premiere of the “Spirit of Innovation” a reality Tuesday (March 22nd) evening at the KHS auditorium. This special piece of band music was composed by emerging composer, Adrian B. Sims, after being commissioned by Mr. Anderson. This World Premiere performance of the “Spirit of Innovation” was the finale of the KHS Band’s Winter Concert.

The Kokomo High School Vocal Jazz Choir is one of only 8 State finalists, who will be performing at the Indiana State Music Association’s State Finals this Friday (March 18) at Franklin Central High School. KHS Choir Director Cherresa Lawson is elated for this special group of young ladies.
